Remember when GOG.com fooled us all into believing their demise, when in reality it was some cruel marketing scheme? Yes, we were steamed too, no pun intended. But all is forgiven now and the site has come back in full force to offer awesome new titles like Baldur’s Game and such marvels as Psychonauts, etc.

GOG.com JoWood sale
These JoWood titles and more are now on sale at GOG.com.

This weekend, however, they will be having a sale on all games from developer/publisher JoWood. A personal favorite of mine, this company released gems like Painkiller, Spellforce, Gothic and the much underrated The Guild! I suggest you score at least 2 games from them, so they can afford a bigger booth next time yours truly is attending a game convention. Trying to scope out the 5 meter booth in Leipzig in between blaring monoliths like Fallout and Blizzard, wasn’t easy, but we made it. Still, as German speaking Austrian folk, you should demand more respect.

Anyways, the sale on JoWood games will last until November 15th, so head on down to GOG.com and purchase most of the titles for fewer than 5 bucks. That should tide you through a while, I’d say.

  • This would be great... If I knew I liked any of the games.

  • @Horgen123: Wouldn't that entail ownership? In any case, all the titles I mentioned are varied between very decent and great. I cannot vouch for those I never played, but they seem to have a lot of great games on their roster.
