Friends: The One With All The Trivia does exactly what it says on the box, offering up questions related to one of the most successful sit-coms of all time. Sadly the questions are so difficult that anyone other than the most hardcore of fans will be left guessing, a silly move indeed considering this alienates the majority of potential buyers.

You will find a grand total of four modes here, each one as unoriginal and uninspiring as the next. There’s caffeinated and decaffeinated for the single-player, these are essentially timed and un-timed questions. Then there’s buzz-in and turn-based modes for use in multiplayer, the buzz-in mode is a little cheap though; in the sense that the same person can buzz in immediately first time every time, have the whole question revealed and then answer accordingly.

The game oozes with cheap production values from every orifice, from the lackluster menus with their ‘bitty’ textures and backgrounds, right down to the horrendous videos that look like they haven’t been buffered properly.

The audio is also severely lacking, apart from the Friends theme that makes an appearance upon starting the game and completing the game there’s very little to get excited about. If you’re not bugged by the elevator-esque music that plays throughout then the annoying announcers will most certainly do it, well unless of course the thought of Janice and Gunther blabbering down your ear hole for the best part of an hour sounds like fun.

All-in-all the game lacks any real production values, in fact it lacks any real value period. It’s essentially a bunch of Friends questions thrown together and slapped with an official logo. Calling this a game would be laughable; it barely passes as a quiz and will struggle to hold your attention for more than an hour or so. Want my advice? Go buy a Friends DVD; at least that way you’ll be entertained.
