10 Most Anticipated Upcoming Games Exclusive to Xbox
There are so many titles that will be coming to Xbox in the next coming years. But there are some that quite simply stand head and shoulders from the rest of the pack.

These titles will be available exclusively on the Xbox (and PC of course) and they are truly some of the most highly anticipated games in the entire games industry. Obviously, there are more games that have been announced to be released on Xbox, and please comment below on what you think has been omitted from this list.
This is a ranking of the Top 10 most anticipated upcoming games exclusive to Xbox.
10. State of Decay 3
State of Decay 3 is how we start this list. Undead Lab’s third entry in the incredibly popular zombie killing, apocalyptic survival franchise forces players to face off against their zombie opponents while striving to survive a harsh world. The third entry seems to be taking a darker route if the trailer is to be believed, and it is a very enticing title, particularly for fans of the zombie genre, and clearly one of the most anticipated titles.
9. Everwild
The next game from the famous company Rare, Everwild, is a game set in a fantasy world with one of the most gorgeous art styles I may have ever seen in a game. Beyond this, the game itself seems like it will be an incredible adventure, and for all those who have been fans of rare, this is not a game to miss upon its release… Whenever that is.
8. Redfall
This game has undergone a long and turbulent development cycle. It was recently delayed alongside another game further along with this list. Arkane Studios (The studio behind the incredible Dishonored and Deathloop) announced Redfall in June of last year, and it has immediately became a game that many are heavily anticipating.
7. The Outer Worlds 2
The Outer Worlds was a massive surprise to me upon its release. Whilst I didn’t doubt the developers of games like Fallout: New Vegas, there was a caution to the game. It turned out to be remarkably funny and also incredibly profound. While the game was a little short, its sequel has the potential to surpass the first and create an incredible and incomparable experience.
6. Perfect Dark
The last Perfect Dark game to be released was Perfect Dark: Zero, which was released by Rare in 2005. One of the most iconic series in the history of first-person shooters, of course, the highly anticipated triumphant return from The Initiative is on the list. While there may not be much known about the title, the history, and nostalgia that this game already carries mean it is immediately one of the more anticipated games coming to Xbox.
5. Fable
Similar to the previous entry on this list, there hasn’t been a Fable game since Fable III was released back in 2012. The game was released to mediocre reviews and ultimately received relatively poorly. However, despite this, fans still clamor for another Fable game, and with Playground Games passionately working on Fable's next iteration then, the next entry in the series is very highly sought after.
4. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice might be one of the best action-adventure games ever made. The look into mental illness and doing it through the veil of Norse Mythology is so perfect and works so well. Ninja Theories sequel appears to be delving into similar territory. If the incredible graphics and intriguing narrative are anything to go off, this game is going to be incredible.

3. The Elder Scrolls VI
Could I have made a list about the most highly anticipated games and not include The Elder Scrolls VI? Probably not. The Elder Scrolls is one of the most popular franchises to ever grace gaming, and the next title in this franchise is so sought after that every scrap of detail has been cross-referenced, analyzed to the nth degree, and more. Bethesda Game Studios’ next delve into the world of Tamriel is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games coming to Xbox.
There is very little information regarding The Elder Scrolls Vi's release, however, it can be inferred due to Microsoft's purchase of Bethesda that the next iteration of The Elder Scrolls may be an Xbox exclusive.
2. Avowed
Avowed is the other game being developed at Obsidian Entertainment. The game is set in Eora, the world of the Pillars of Eternity franchise. The game seems to be another ‘Elder Scrolls’ title, as it appears to have similar gameplay if the trailer is proven to be accurate. Suppose this game has the same mature and intriguing story that the 2 Pillars of Eternity titles have. In that case, this game will be incredible, which innately leads to the game’s high anticipation.
1. Starfield
The next game that Bethesda Game Studios is in the midst of developing. It is a game that has had so many theories and concepts drawn up about what it could be or what it could contain. Even with so many snippets provided by Bethesda, we still don’t really know that much. Yet, despite all of that, the Sci-Fi adventure is easily the most anticipated game that is coming to the Xbox for many reasons.
There is no information on whether this game will or will not be released on the PlayStation 5 and that coupled with Microsoft ownership of Bethesda has led to the belief that this may be Bethesda Games Studios'first Xbox exclusive title.
It is the first game for Bethesda since Fallout 76, so some will see this game as a redeemer. Others are simply Bethesda RPG superfans, and others are huge sci-fi fans in general. Essentially, this game is a perfect blend of genre, developer, and more, leading to so much hype and anticipation that this game is easily one of the most highly anticipated games ever, nevermind just for the Xbox.
