20XX Noob Guide: Should I Choose Nina or Ace?

20XX has you picking from Nina or Ace, both with their own styles of combat. But who should you pick? Here's how to determine whether you're Team Ace or Team Nina.

Team Nina

Nina operates like Mega Man, equipped with a long-range blaster and best for novices. She's versatile and has access to a lot of different types of weapons that can augment he blaster to include spread, 4-directional blast, shoot through walls, and more.

If you're just starting out Nina is the best choice. She can handle almost any situation and since her blaster shoots at a decent range you can focus on obtaining bolts and other upgrades at the end of each battle.

Team Ace

Ace plays like Zero, with a focus on close-range combat and specialized weapons. While Ace does have access to ranged melee attacks and can attack quicker than Nina. This also means you'll have to depend on energy based weapons for range attacks.

Ace is definitely much stronger than Nina considering his speed of attack but should be used after gaining experience using Nina.

Team Hawk

Hawk plays a lot like Ace but is only available after completing the game once. Equipped with a short-range whip Hawk relies heavily on power items for long-range combat. Hawk does start off with a rapid-fire blaster but this takes up energy. Those familiar with Ace will have no problem playing Hawk.
