When you need to know before starting Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima is a large epic journey through hordes of Mongols, bandits, and legendary warriors. You're going to need some help and we have some tips to aid in your journey.
1. Observe Enemy Leaders
When inside a Mongrol camp you'll have to fight and defeat the leader. However, if you find the leader and get within range, about 10 feet, you can observe the person for an extra stance point. You can get 2 with this process, 1 for observing and 1 for killing the leader.
2. Locate Hotsprings and Talk to the People
You can increase your health through leveling but if you locate Hotsprings this will increase your health each one you visit. Like other collectables you can find these by talking to the people who'll provide locations to hidden secrets and collectables.
3. Upgrade Parrying First
Parrying is the most important skill tree in the game. It provides a lot of amazing benefits such as increased damage, health per parry, and more. Dodging is effective but you'll be parrying more times than dodging.
This is especially effective once you unlock the "Terrifying Parry" that can deal heavy damage to boss enemies in a single-strike.
4. Fire Arrows
Later on in the game, you'll gain fire arrows from Sensei Ishikawa's questline. These are extremely powerful and can kill most enemies in 1 hit or stagger them. These are limited but great for a pitch.
5. Use the Ghost
While dishonorable the Ghost is the most helpful in clearing out camps. When inside you can slaughter enemies in isolated clusters while the others remain unaware. Even when spotted, if you remain in a certain area the others will remain unaware. If found you can regain your stealth position by breaking line of sight. This is great for whittling down enemy counts in logging camps or dishing out a critical strike on an enemy camp leader.
If you happen to choose to "showdown" you'll have to take on a specific section of the map's enemies. Like an honorable samurai, however, you can resume your ghost tactics if you wish or continue the honorable path.
