Treasure Bottles offer a repeatable way to farm equipment, Armor, resources, and other rewards in ARK Tides of Fortune. Each glowing bottle provides a Treasure Map that directs you to a Buried Treasure Chest. Some chests can contain another Treasure Map Bottle, allowing you to continue the treasure hunt without returning to the shoreline.

Find Treasure Bottles Along the Shore

Walk along beaches and look at the ground at the water's edge. Treasure Map Bottles are gold and give off a brilliant glow so you can see them from a decent distance.

Approach the bottle and use it to pick up the Treasure Map. The quality of the maps varies, and the higher the quality of the map, the greater the potential rewards.

Activate the Treasure Map

Open your inventory and use the Treasure Map Bottle. Activating it places a marker in the world and displays the distance between you and the buried treasure.

Some treasure locations appear close to where the bottle was collected, while others may be several thousand meters away. Check the displayed distance before leaving and bring a fast land, air, or water mount when the destination is far away.

Bring a Shovel to the Search Area

A Shovel is required to uncover the Buried Treasure Chest. Travel toward the marker until you reach the indicated search area, which normally becomes active when you are approximately 100 meters from the treasure.

Take the Shovel and go around the neighboring ground, keeping an eye on the digging meter. The light will change to green when you are standing in a valid place to dig. Use the Shovel at that point to reveal the chest, then open it and collect the equipment and resources inside.

Continue the Treasure Map Chain

A Buried Treasure Chest can sometimes contain another Treasure Map Bottle. Use the new map to reveal another marked location and continue farming chests across the map.

Always check the next marker’s distance before travelling. Chained maps may lead between distant regions, and reward quality can differ between chests. Keep your mount ready and ensure you have enough inventory space for armor, equipment, resources, and other loot.

Farm Treasure Bottles Efficiently

Follow long, uninterrupted sections of coastline and investigate every golden glow near the water. Loose bottles found along beaches are the most direct source, while Buried Treasure Chests provide another chance to obtain additional maps.

Carry a Shovel whenever you search for bottles so you do not need to return to your base after locating a treasure area. A fast mount significantly reduces travel time, especially when several chained maps send you across distant parts of the map.

By collecting Treasure Map Bottles, following their markers, and digging at valid locations with a Shovel, you can repeatedly farm Buried Treasure Chests in ARK: Survival Ascended.
