Why Early Exquisite Gear Matters

Exquisite items hit harder and give better bonuses. They also often come with bonuses that work for both stealthy and open battles. Early exquisite weapons also make the grind easier since you need to use less ammo to kill top enemies.

When a quest asks for rare materials, the Hunter's Guide will show the correct biome and let you pin what you need.

Get the Exquisite Master Hunter Longbow from Aranahe Community Contributions

The fastest early power jump comes from the Aranahe Community, the quest chain for contributions. The contribution quests become available as a multi-part set after you meet the Aranahe and grow enough to work with Nefika at Hometree.

Each step asks for certain items to be given to community baskets in different camps, and some requests may require very high-quality items. Using the Hunter's Guide to pin materials makes it much easier to follow, especially when the map hasn't been fully explored yet.

Once the parts are completed and turned back in to Nefika, the reward is the Master Hunter Longbow in Exquisite quality, along with its design, so a stronger-crafted version can be made later.

This bow can show around 76 damage, which is far above most early longbows. It also comes with strong perks, including extra movement speed after defeating enemies and more damage at full draw.

Grab an Overpowered Exquisite Shotgun Early in Cocoon Hills

A powerful shotgun may make RDA fights swift and easy. The quickest way to start is to go to the top right of the Kinglor Forest map, where Cocoon Hills is. At first, the terrain can feel dangerous; it's necessary to be careful while you walk, especially if there are strong foes around.

In Cocoon Hills, there is a chest with a beautiful shotgun in it, but it is under a rock near two RDA baddies. The weapon can deal over 100 damage, which is a big increase for this stage.

If a base shotgun is already unlocked, buying an RDA variant later can still be worth it, even if it costs around 60 Spare Parts, because it keeps shotgun power high while other gear catches up.

Pick Up an Exquisite Longbow Hunting Mod After The Unsung Hunter

Finishing The Unsung Hunter and returning to the quest NPCs can also award a strong longbow mod. Neyan's Hunting String is the key prize.

It's an exquisite longbow string mod that raises damage to wildlife and helps hunting feel cleaner at first. It goes well with bows that do a lot of damage and cuts down on the time spent tracking harder creatures.

Craft a High-HP Waist Piece from Steady Wings Using Exquisite Materials

The Steady Wings quest chain leads to a very useful early waist craft, often referred to as the Spinner Waistwrap design. The chain involves caring for Kinglor Queens, and it can apply a discomfort effect along the way.

Movement feels limited during that state, and riding an Ikran may not be available, so it helps to plan a walking route and clear the steps patiently.

The Spinner Waistwrap can really help you stay alive. It usually gives you 60-70+ HP, depending on how well the craft is made. It can also give useful boosts like extra RDA damage, which is great when outposts are the biggest problem.

To craft it with strong stats, three Exquisite materials matter most. Kinglor Cocoon Fiber can be gathered in Cocoon Hills, making it a smart stop while grabbing the shotgun.

The Great Roots Biome is the best place to farm Viperwolf Tooth, especially under Stoneblade Ridge. Here, packs of Viperwolves will give you more chances to get better drops. Scale Bark is close to Spinner's Circle and near Dyer's Falls. Night harvesting helps get high-quality results.

Unlock the Exquisite Storm Heavy Bow Early with Tech Support

If you like to fight with a heavy bow, the Storm Heavy Bow is one of the best early purchases. You can get this reward during the Tech Support task in the Upper Plains, and you can also use the design later.

Damage can push 110+, which is extremely strong when most enemies are still tuned around early gear.

The special value comes from Storm Arrows. Charging and firing a Storm Arrow can zap targets with Lightning. If an enemy goes down within about five seconds, nearby enemies can get electrocuted too.

The bow's affliction effect can also enable a bonus like 35% more damage against enemies affected by status effects, which stacks well with other elemental setups. Turrets can also drop quickly from this effect, making base pushes feel safer.

Get a Strong Chest Craft from Teachable Moment with Neytu's Chest Wrap

A very useful chest craft can happen at the end of the Teachable Moment quest. This is often linked to Neytu's Chest Wrap. The last steps are to get the right things together and then make the chest piece, as the quest says. It's a sure-fire way to get a useful armor upgrade without having to depend on random drops.

Two key materials can be required in strong quality, such as Superior Stormsky Bamboo Shoots and Superior Shaded Waterweed Bast. Stormsky Bamboo Shoots are easier to track by opening the Hunter's Guide, selecting the resource, and pinning it so the correct bamboo biome is highlighted.

Due to its preference for damp habitats, Shaded Waterweed Bast may take longer than average to reach maturity. It could be overlooked if the path remains on elevated terrain. You can speed up your search by following rivers and looking for low, moist areas.

Buy the Shielded Relay Bracelet Early at Resistance HQ

Once dealing starts, you have to go to Resistance HQ because the utility gear there makes things much easier at the beginning. You can buy the Shielded Relay Bracelet at Rajinder Singh Grewal. It makes hacking much easier by adding about 6 meters to your SID range.

That extra distance means hacking can be used without stepping into danger, which is especially helpful against Turrets and RDA AMPs.

Pick Up Extra Exquisite Firepower from Hurit Ahenakew

Hurit Ahenakew is a weapons dealer at Resistance HQ. He can keep a lot of strong choices in stock, like high-level shotguns and assault rifles. Using Spare Parts here can be a clean way to stay ahead of enemy scaling.

A shotgun purchase is often the most noticeable upgrade, because it deletes close-range threats and helps punish AMP weak points when fights get messy.

Get the Exquisite SE-85 Gravedigger and Spotter Magazine from Lightning in the Hand

A late-early powerhouse comes from Lightning in the Hand, a side quest that becomes available after reaching the Upper Plains and progressing into regions like The Upper Steps.

The mission sends you into the Waterway Valley area. It leads to an RDA location, such as Steam Outpost Bravo, where the objective is to rescue Kady Winslow.

Using stealth makes this quest more rewarding. Avoiding the warning makes it easier to get better loot during the clear and keeps the rescue part easier. A chest inside can also drop an Exquisite Precision Assault Rifle, and it seems like it is always there for the taking.

After Kady Winslow is rescued and spoken to, a guaranteed Exquisite assault rifle magazine mod can be earned, commonly known as the Spotter Magazine, which boosts damage to marked enemies and fits perfectly on the new rifle.
