Back from Liverpool

Honestly, if I start writing about my recent trip to Liverpool and Anfield, I can easily write 2 or 3 huge blogs, so I'll just stick to the major facts.

 

- My undefeated record at Anfield no longer exists. We got beat by Fiorentina and Arsenal with the exact same score and the exact same way (we scored first late in the 1st half, then conceded twice in the 2nd half). Picture with Craig prior the Arsenal game, just outside Anfield :)

 

 

- The mood in the city was simply fantastic. Christmas happenings going on everywhere, people out shopping, having some good time and flirting of course. Seriously, I'm thinking of spending my Christmas there next year.

 

- Plenty of beer (after a long time) for me. Many great nights at Matthew and Slater Street. A fantastic small group named Midnight Blues playing some very good cover songs at the Cavern was the highlight of all nights.

 

- Sunday night at Craig's with George, Kris and Jonno was simply great. We wiped out a serious amount of ouzo bottle in less than 2 hours playing a game called "Taboo" in Greece (you 're supposed to describe a word without saying 5 other highlighted words). Pics from this night are strictly denied :P

 

- Back to miserable and crazy Athens, I'm in huge denial (again) turning on the telly, the radio etc. And I'm afraid I just got the flu. BRING ON SOME STELLA GEO :)
