Borderlands 3 Katagawa Jr. Boss Fight Guide

Rhys has been repelling Maliwan's attacks in taking over his company but now they've launched their final assault. Taking out Atlas' defensive and turning one of Rhys most trusted allies and friends against him. However, it was a ruse. With Katagawa revealed as a knock-off Zer0 using a replicate sword and suit. Now it's time to take him down.

Katagawa Jr. not only stole Zer0's suit and weapon designs but tactics as well. Using a combination of holograms, sniper shots, and quick guerrilla warfare. The key is to keep him at a distance while also killing his clones.

Katagawa will dive between platforms to try and snipe and should be taken down immediately. Those shots are lethal but fortunately, he's defensives are very weak. Despite this, Katagawa has multiple times where he'll go into a state of invulnerability and regenerate his shielding. When he does head to the ground for melee combat he'll charge the player and rarely use guns. Use this to your advantage to take some serious chuncks from his health.

Unlike other boss fights, Katagawa won't use any other tactics. He'll stick to the holograms, charging with melee attacks, and snipe from the tower.

After the fight finishes you'll have 1 last decision to make. Whether Rhys should keep his mustache or not.
