Borderlands 3 Mouthpiece Boss Fight Guide

Mouthpiece is the first real boss encounter you'll have in Borderlands 3. Armed with the power of music this massive bandit uses sound as a weapon. Here's how to defeat him.

Mouthpiece comes with a massive shield and speakers around the room. In addition, he'll summon minors to attack the player and charge the speakers in the room.

The enemies are easily killed since they rely heavily on melee attacks and usually stand around dancing. Mouthpiece acts as basic Enforcer, using his shield to defend against attacks but a melee attack will temporarily knock him off balance. Also, his legs and left arm is constantly exposed. And grenades at very useful in bypassing the shield.

When Mouthpiece starts to amp-up the crowd he'll become immune to damage. Look at the floor to see what speakers are being charged and head to the part of the room where the electrical chords are not glowing. After the speakers blow, continue the assault on Mouthpiece.

During the mission, Pandora's Next Big Mouthpiece you'll face another Mouthpiece. Follow the same tactics.
