BOSTON'S TENTH MAN CANNOT BE WRONG!!!

Blog title from the song here; "Tessie" by Dropkick Murphys. The unofficial theme of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. AMAZING song. :D
So, today, I went with my father and brother to my first live Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. As far as baseball games go, this one was pretty good. The Sox and the Braves were neck-and-neck, and were tied coming into the bottom of the ninth inning. For those of you who don't live in America or Japan, and therefore probably don't know much about baseball, each game has nine innings, and each inning consists of six "outs"; three in the "top" of the inning (for the Away team, the Braves in this case), and three in the "bottom" of the inning (for the Home team, the Red Sox in this case). A tie score in the bottom of the ninth is the closest a game can get.
Now, a "walk-off" is when the game is tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the home team scores a run, ending the game during the middle of the inning. These are pretty rare, and only happen about 10-15 times a year altogether.
So, during the break between the top and bottom of the ninth, my brother mentions that he has to go to the bathroom. My father and I tell him to go quickly, to avoid the bathroom rush at the end of the game. He finally decides to go, but says, "If we get a walk-off while I'm in the bathroom, I'm going to kill you." About a minute after he leaves, the bottom of the ninth starts up. First pitch; CRACK! Home Run, right down the first base line. Walk-off. Game's over. We win. And my brother is PISSED OFF. :P
So, aside from my brother's pissy mood for the rest of the day, the game was amazing. We got some free tickets from a friend of my fathers, in a pretty good seat, down the third base line (if you know the layout of Fenway Park, we were within arm distance of the green monster). Paplebon was even more amazing than usual.
In gaming news, I'm still playing Eternal Sonata. Going through the Mysterios Unison dungeon, and getting my @$$ handed to me. Claves better be worth all the trouble I'm going through to get her...
So, that's it for today. I'll be back if I end up renting Punch-Out!! for the Wii. See you all soon! :) Picture here; it's a good'un.
