Thus, it becomes difficult to filter out what is really a fact than fiction. You've certainly come across this situation: a developer speaks wonders of his game and disseminate images and beautiful videos, however, when the title hits the store shelves the truth is quite different. This is the routine of every videogames fan, constantly filtering out the truth and lie in the gaming world. However, there is a day that makes this work much harder: April 1st.
Every year it's the same thing, a flurry of "news" show the most impressive games ever made. Or worse, offer ideas so believable that end up passing unnoticed by the crap filters to most readers. However, despite all the confusion at the end of the day all these lies yield good laughs. So to make your life easier we have a selection of the main "news" of the day...
Mega Man Hardcore
The play began with the announcement of Mega Man Universe would be canceled. Taking advantage of this day the comedians promoted a new title of the blue robot. The game would be a reboot of the series, with a totally redesigned adventure.
Reopening the Portal
This is for fans of Portal. Was released a demo version of Portal 2, the demo features the first four stages of games and has only 975.7 GB - that's right, a little less than a terabyte (1024 GB).
A message from the president of the galaxy
Copernicus Leslie Qwark, aka Captain Qwark - Ratchet & Clank franchise - has posted a newa on the official PlayStation blog, revealing its new game. According to his official statement to the Galaxy, Copernicus Qwark's Awesomely Epic 3D Adventure Through Time and Space will have the full splendor of the third "D".
A century in 43 minutes
RIFT players have accumulated more than 2,496,966,514 minutes of gameplay during the first 28 days of the MMORPG. This means that in less than a month the players were more than 41,616,108 hours online, or 1,734,004 days - equivalent to 4,750 years.
In the wake of Starcraft
Without a doubt one of the best "gotchas " of the day came from Blizzard. The developer of Diablo and World of Warcraft Starcraft revealed the return to the consoles and with Kinect support.
Megatransactions in Minecraft
The independent production, Minecraft also made a joke. The developer took the title update (real) to introduce a new tool (completely untrue), untitled Minecraft Store. With the new store house players can buy and sell totally useless and unrealistic special items.
