Class of Heroes 2 brings a new twist on a traditional dungeon crawler. It takes elements from games, such as Dungeons and Dragons and Dragon Quest, to put them together in an impressive roleplaying display.

One of the new features introduced by Class of Heroes 2 is the ability to command several parties during the one game. For example, if you are going through a very difficult labyrinth, you can leave your party behind in a village and use another group you created back at the designated academy. This is a handy feature; since if one of your parties is defeated, you can rescue them with another team, ensuring no loss of any party members. It allows you to clear through a labyrinth with your main group and return later with a weaker squad, after finding out the enemy's flaws.

Another implementation would be the introduction of the alchemy system. While buying new armour and weapons may seem the optional idea, it is far more resourceful to upgrade and create new equipment. By collecting materials from monsters and chests throughout the game, you can return to the academy to create your upgraded equipment and dismantle your old gear.

Creation of characters

Additionally, Class of Heroes 2 allows you to tune your characters exactly how you like them. With over 6 races to choose from and over 30 (double-check) classes to mix and match with, it is perfect for those who want to challenge themselves with an all magic party or a group of warriors. However, nothing is quite as simple as picking a race and a class. Each race has its own strengths and weaknesses, putting initial limitations on selecting a class. More so, each race has an affinity rating with each other, so combining the wrong ones affects how the characters develop.
