Skylar has a unique romance option in your dating adventure, serving as the manifestation of your Dateviators.
Unlike other romantic interests you encounter throughout your journey, Skylar doesn't follow the traditional meeting pattern since she's introduced right from the beginning as part of your equipment's functionality in Date Everything.

Meeting Skylar
To start your romantic search with Skylar, you will need to prepare your Dateviators and open the SKYLAR app on your Smartphone. It is this custom-built interface that is your principal tool of contact with her, opening up avenues of communication otherwise out of bounds through regular channels.
Start by choosing the "Let's chat about you!" option from her main screen. This will start more in-depth lines of conversation that provide helpful information about Skylar's background.
Main Menu System
Start by choosing the option "Let's talk about you!" from her main screen. This will open up more mature conversation branches that provide necessary backstory on Skylar, in addition to the world's mechanics.
Understanding the Dating System
Within the "Can we talk about how all this 'dating objects' thing works?" submenu, you'll find several critical conversation topics that must be completed in sequence. Each discussion reveals essential lore elements while strengthening your bond with Skylar.
When you select "How do the Dateviators work in the first place?", Skylar will explain that the technology operates through vibrational frequencies.
Proceed by selecting "That's it?" to elicit her detailed explanation of "thing theory," which explains how various items' wavelengths can resonate in Date Everything.
Say "Intriguing" and keep picking dialogue options that reflect your actual interest and participation. Never choose any reaction suggesting boredom or your wish to stop talking. Most importantly, conclude the conversation by saying, "That makes perfect sense!

The topic "How do dateables talk to each other?" reveals Skylar's role as a translator, converting various object wavelengths into comprehensible communication for you. Again, aim to finish this conversation with "I think that makes perfect sense!" when possible.
Selecting "Why is there no real-world stuff and everything is a thing-based pun?" leads Skylar into an explanation about contemporary object naming conventions.
This conversation tends to become quite elaborate, but maintain your engagement and conclude with "I think that makes perfect sense!"
When you choose "How do dateables eat, listen to music, etc.?", Skylar will discuss the concept of "animus" - a mysterious force that allows objects to perform actions beyond our complete understanding.
End this dialogue with "I think that makes perfect sense!" whenever the opportunity arises.
The question "When I love a thing, what physically am I doing?" prompts Skylar to clarify that your relationships don't involve physical interaction with furniture. She becomes upset if you suggest otherwise, so it's best to avoid implying any desire for physical contact.
Complete this conversation with your standard affirmative response: "I think that makes perfect sense!"
Asking "What's so special about this house?" yields minimal information from Skylar, who mentions only vague "traces of some previous owners" without elaborating further, even under pressure. Respond with "I think that makes perfect sense!" when you can.
The inquiry "Why is everyone so attractive?" reveals that the appealing appearances are simply Skylar's visual representations of objects rather than their proper forms. Conclude with "I think that makes perfect sense!" if possible.

When you select "Is one door all doors? Is one table all tables?", Skylar confirms this concept, explaining that it's based on each item's "animus," which originates when an object type is first created. Answer with "I think that makes perfect sense!" when appropriate in Date Everything.
Finally, "What happens if I use the datevators on a human?" receives only a cryptic response from Skylar, who suggests you'll discover the answer once you leave the house. Again, respond with "I think that makes perfect sense!" when possible.
The Suspension of Disbelief Component
No matter the direction you work through the conversations in, talking with Skylar about how the game world works will ultimately unlock her suspension of disbelief mode.
This intriguing element is both the source of what makes the dating system work and something collectible.
Your goal involves systematically working through Skylar's dialogue prompts over multiple interactions while consistently responding with "I think that makes perfect sense!" This specific phrase strengthens the suspension of disbelief component with each use in Date Everything.
After providing this response to three separate prompts, the component reaches full power.

Romance with Skylar
Once you've successfully powered up Skylar's suspension of disbelief component to maximum capacity, she'll experience enough happiness to confess her feelings toward you. She'll ask: "I love you ...will you accept it?"
At this crucial moment, you face a choice between two responses that determine your relationship's future:
Selecting "Of course, Skylar - LOVE" establishes a romantic relationship with her.
Choosing "Skylar - I always thought of you more as the 'tutorial friend' - FRIENDSHIP" maintains a platonic connection instead.
Your choice here finalises your relationship status with Skylar and completes her unique romance storyline in Date Everything.
