DmC (Devil May Cry)

As many already know, at Tokyo Game Show 2010 Capcom began making some important announcements. One day before the official start of the event, the development chief Keiji Inafune reported that the company aims to become a global distributor of games, not just focus on certain areas. Thus, it was revealed the title DMC (or DMC), a sequel - or a revival - of the Devil May Cry franchise. Too bad there are not many details about the game itself. Much of the data focus the development framework and the manner in which the international organization will affect the final product. Even so, it seems that the return of Dante could make some damage in the world of video games.
Capcom joined the development team at Ninja Theory (Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West) for the establishment of DMC. This shows that England is also the focus of the overall goal revealed by Inafune. In fact, producer Alex Jones (Capcom USA) stated that the game is an interactive development version, referring to the affinities and preferences of players from different places.
The first trailer for the game shows that action is not lacking in this new Dante adventure. Representatives from Ninja Theory and the Japanese and U.S. divisions of Capcom made sure to explain the project in Tokyo. Tameem Antoniades, creator of Enslaved, said the idea is to reinvent the series. Dante, the main protagonist, appears to look much younger than before. Aspects related to his youth are all over the game, according to Antoniades, considering that the character has an air of rebellion.
Inafune said that with the player's progress in the main story, you may find that the fifth title in the franchise may contrast to its predecessors. In the unreal world of the new game, nothing is as it seems. The balance between good and evil is blurred and Dante seeks revenge above all.
As usual, the basic formula of DMC will feature the well-known mix of melee battles with swords and frenzied shootouts. Were promised new weapons, new powers and a fresh gameplay through a new set of enemies and beautifully detailed environments. It is expected that there is the possibility to use a vehicle to topple a group of enemies, even if there is a chance to put out a cigarette in one eye of a trapped creature in the hands of Dante.
Hideaki Itsuno (Capcom Japan) is co-directing the title as a supervisor. Itsuno indicated that with an experienced team and a main objective, "can not fail." The game - still no launch date set - should be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Nothing has been confirmed for the PC.
