Achievements are becoming more and more integral in this gaming era, and depending on what trophies or gamer points a game offers can make or break somebody’s purchase. We thought we’d focus our attention on the PlayStation 3 in this feature, highlighting some of the easy platinum trophies you can bag yourself:

Buzz! Quiz TV
Most of the trophies are more tedious as oppose to hard, with most requiring you to partake in a certain amount of quizzes, which usually takes a prolonged period of time. They can be achieved in a few days if you have the patience to go through quiz after quiz, but may turn your love for the game into pure hatred.

There are some tricky trophies to get, most notably the one that requires three consecutive correct answers in under 0.5 seconds, but with a bit of practice and a lot of luck this can be bagged.

The buzzers are required for this game, so this could be an expensive option.

Disney’s UP
A very, very easy title to achieve platinum on, and can be achieved in no time at all. Definitely one that should be rented, or picked up very cheaply if you’re looking to devour it of trophies.

To give you some perspective of how simple this game is, you get a bronze trophy for simply entering the multiplayer menu. Nothing more required. Another is to squish ten wasps or spiders, which can be done in minutes.

There is four gold trophies on offer, four silver, and thirty-three bronze, so I guess weighing up whether it’s worth your hard-earned cash is the only thing that need be decided here.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest
I was a little reluctant to put this one up, because while it is easy for the most part; the online trophies are an absolute nuisance to get.

You should bag yourself all of the offline ones in a day or two, nothing too complex. It only requires thing’s such as kill 25 people with fire arrows in a single life or get a 25-hit combo with the warrior, thing’s that can be done with minimal effort on your part.

The online portion however requires a huge amount of planning, quick reactions, and a bit of luck. The three most difficult are 30 kills in a single match, 25 kills with the warrior in a single match, and capture the ring with Frodo. If you’re not prepared to spend the time and patience online with this then stay far away.
