God of War III: Ultimate Edition

In the end, there will be only chaos.
If you plan on buying the Ultimate Collection and want to experience it for yourself, be warned that I show pictures of it, along with what's inside.
Indeed, nothing but chaos, my fellow NoobFeeders. This morning, despite working on a 4pm to 12am shift, as well as having quite a schedule filled with hours this week (12pm to 12am Wednesday, 8am to 8pm Thursday, looking forward to request a day off on Friday lol), I woke up at 9am and by 10am I came back home with a little something that I had pre-ordered 4 months ago, a mere one day after it's official announcement of existence:
The God of War III: Ultimate Edition box.
Yes! I finally get my hands on it! The mere look of the box makes me angry, as Kratos would be. Remember that in a God of War situation, being angry is fine, but being pissed off is the ideal and ultimate. That thing is huge! I have never owned such a big box for a simple game, but this is no simple game, this is God of War.
After the guy at GameStop was done asking me for advice on the Sisters of Faith from God of War II, I quickly drove back home with this box worthy of Olympus itself. As I try to open it, as usual, I realize they've put stickers on all 3 sides of the box, so I grab a knife and carefully cut the stickers as I do not want to mess the box up by trying to actually remove them.
The first thing you see when opening the angry box.
It's a paper! What is this paper for? It's actually the first thing you see when opening the box, which shows how to open the angry looking Pandora's box. But wait.. they're showing me a paper? To hell with the paper, I want the Pandora's box! It's true that I did not really care how to open it, I just wanted to see it. I quickly toss aside the white paper and protective sheet of really thin foam and took out the once seeked treasure of many warriors, who failed miserably only to encounter their death.
The Pandora's box in all of its glorified angriness.
I had my hands on this treasure, the one to cost many lives of warriors, without even needing to defeat the Sirens of the Desert. In reality, despite being made out of plastic, the box is pretty angry looking, definitely something that is not disappointing. Of course, if it would of been made out of metal, Pandora's box would not only look angry, it would look pissed off. But then again, when we look at replicas such as the Blades of Chaos replica, made out of real steel, with a price over the hundreds, we can't expect a $100 collection to have a box made out of anything else but plastic. Then I started opening Pandora.. and I failed. That's when I went back to the white paper only to notice that you had to slide the cover before being able to lift it up. In the end, that white paper wasn't as useless as I thought.
Inside the mysterious and powerful Pandora's box.
Only now can I imagine Kratos, standing in front of Ares, having to remove a piece of carton to reveal the tremendous power hidden within Pandora's box. Or maybe the Gods were kind enough to remove it for himself, which they definitely did not feel like pleasing me, because I had to stick my fingers in those two holes in fear that this might be a trap filled with unseen spikes, acting as a trial to unveil the inside of the box.
Inside the mysterious and powerful Pandora's box, take two.
After surviving the carton of doom, I see.. a book! The carton is a lie! This is not a game, but rather a small hard cover book. Where is the game? Nonetheless, I grab the book and take a look inside. Despite wondering where the game went and suddenly feeling joy, curiosity comes out as the winner as to what this book contains.
Inside the book that brought joy and happiness.
It's the famous artbook promised within the collection. While being quite small, it packs a lot of content and a lot of artwork. If you click the picture to see the original size, you can notice that there are also words of angriness left out by the developers. Definitely a great addition, but this is not what I am looking for. Let's search deeper within the mysterious Pandora's box.
What's this? A fake bottom?
That made me really angry, on the egde of being pissed off. A fake bottom within the Pandora's box!? Is this where the power granted to Kratos came from? The only way to tell is to look below the piece forming the fake bottom, seeing what appears to be yet another piece of paper.
The Ultimate Edition is shining.
Now I'm pissed off! The fake bottom was hiding the game as well as the downloadable content voucher! Absolutely beautiful. The voucher, which can be seen on the left side, contains 3 different redeemable codes: One for the Challenge of Exile Arena and the Dominus Skin, another for the Unearthing the Legend Documentary, and the last for the God of War Trilogy soundtrack along with the Blood and Metal soundtrack.
The Exile Arena, Dominus skin and documentary are all redeemable through the PlayStation Store from your PS3. What had me a bit joyful at first though was the soundtracks. A Trilogy soundtrack is worth nothing to me if it has to be in my PS3. Upon reading the voucher though, I started being pissed off once more! The soundtracks are redeemable through a specific website, from which you log in to your PSN account and download the music onto your computer. Olympus had replied to my wishes.
Now, despite the presents offered to me by Olympus, I will go assist Kratos, we shall lead the Gods to their doom because I can tell you that I, too, am pissed off!
