If you are a gamer there is no doubt that you have already checked out Medal of Honor by now. After all, the game has been out on the market since 2014 and it is still making waves. The game is an absolute must for anyone that is a fan of history, gaming, and war. The game offers frenzied action, a thoughtful storyline, and gameplay that is hard to match. This might not be a first-person shooter that offers up antagonistic aliens or demons from the depths of Dante’s Inferno, but it certainly makes up for this by offering the user good old-fashioned gameplay and theatric presentation. And, this is not to even mention the multiplayer experience. The multiplayer aspect of the game is on another level.
A Number Of Gameplay Options
Medal of Honor is somewhat similar to other game in the fact that it offers up several different games styles for multiplayer to choose from. This is good because it offers different gameplay options and keeps the gamer from getting bored. Some users might prefer one gameplay style to another, but at least you are going to have the option of exploring different types of gameplay. The game types that are offered by Medal of Honor are a free-for-all, team deathmatch, and invader. The first two are pretty standard for first-person shooters, but the invader gameplay is completely different. This game style offers more of objective-based gameplay.
It pits the American forces against the Japanese forces on eight different maps. And, on these maps, there are going to be different objectives that you and your squad must accomplish, while the other side will try to prevent you from completing such objectives.
Offering Lots Of Competition
One of the greatest things about Medal of Honor Pacific Assault is that the multiplayer browser will let you automatically jump right into a match without having to go through a server list. However, if you prefer to host your own game there is a handy little step-by-step system that will help you do just that. What’s even more impressive with the multiplayer side of the game is that some servers can hold up to thirty-two players. The maps are rather large and complex so this really offers from some interesting and challenging gameplay.
A Good Balance Of Mapping
No gamer wants to be stuck in the game types of maps all the time. What fun is it if players could just run around taking each other with shotguns all the time? While Medal of Honor does offer some close-up bayonet action, it also has a mixture of maps that allow players to test their long-range and medium-range shooting skills. Each map not only offers a good balance of different environments, but each map offers different tactical opportunities. With these different maps as the flow of the battle changes, you are your squad will find yourselves constantly altering your strategy. This means you are going to have to work with a good team and appoint someone that can lead.
