How to Unlock the Deviljho Quest in Monster Hunter: World

The first major patch for Monster Hunter: World is now available and adds new weapons, armors, and the Deviljho monster. Here's where to locate the beast.

First, you need to complete the "Old Monsters in the New World" quest and have a Hunter Rank of 12 to begin. After you'll get a notification saying a Deviljho was sighted. Check the map for the ??? icon.

Head to the location and start looking using your tracking skills. Once found head back to Astera and look for 3 researchers by the quest board, 1 of them should have a blue exclamation point over their head. Speak with them to start a cutscene and you'll be asked to investigate the Deviljho.

Collect information on the beast until a new investigation appears and head back to the researchers. This will unlock the quest "The Food Chain Dominator". Finish the investigation and head back to unlock the Dragonproof Mantle and the quest for "Today's Special: Hunter Flambe".

Monster Hunter: World is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
