I have returned and I need help

My ISP was really slow before but now I have it super fast again I am back! Had a few problems connecting to XBlive though.

I have this posted in a few sites maybe you can help:

Even though my ISP is running superfast but still I can not reconect to XBLive. This is a real shame because not only was I excited to play a game with you all but I am going through one months worth of free Gold Membership that I can;t use

I use a USB modem that is plugged into my PC and an ethernet cable runs from my PC to my X360. This has worked once so why not now. If you know any one who can help tell them about me because I have been trying the troubleshootingand it is not working.

Message on my TV Screen : Can't Obtain an IP adress from your router or modem.
