In Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, New Possibilities are edible things that let you change a character's set powers. These things let you change how your team looks in different game types, but sometimes it's not clear how to get them.
This guide explains how you can acquire New Possibilities in Chronicle Mode, Competition Mode, and Story Mode, and clarifies the restrictions tied to their use.

You cannot use New Possibilities to remove fixed abilities from Hero characters.
Getting New Possibilities in Chronicle & Competition Mode
You can gather New Possibilities for the characters you use in Chronicle Mode and Competition Mode by completing content within BB Stadium. The primary method is finishing a BB Stadium Campaign on Challenging difficulty. You must do the following to enter the correct campaign:
You should begin by selecting BB Stadium from the main menu. Then choose Campaign, select the team you want to use, and pick Challenging difficulty. The campaign contains seven matches, and completing it rewards you with one New Possibilities. Along with this item, you also receive the following:

Two Victory Crate (Legendary)
Five Large Exp Orb
Ten BB Rare Medal
Ten BB Name Tag
Ten BB Pin Badge
Using Victory Crate (Legendary) for Extra Drops
A Victory Crate (Legendary) has a chance to contain a New Possibilities. Since you receive two crates after finishing a BB Stadium Campaign on Challenging, you gain additional opportunities to collect the item. You may also earn a Victory Crate (Legendary) by winning a Hero Battle in Chronicle Mode. However, not every Hero Battle awards a crate, and not all crates contain the item. If you want a steady method, continue clearing BB Stadium campaigns on Challenging difficulty.

Getting New Possibilities in Story Mode
You can buy New Possibilities during Story Mode. These items are sold at Magic Moves (Arcade Branch) found in the Downtown area. When you open the shop menu, look under the Consumables tab. If New Possibilities are not shown during your visit, progress further in the main story and return later, as the shop’s stock changes.
Items purchased in Story Mode are restricted to that mode. Likewise, New Possibilities from other modes cannot be used to modify Story Mode characters.
