The Old Shipyard provides two different Thursday recruits, each requiring specific dialogue interactions, gift items, secondary locations, and condition-based tasks. By following the outlined steps for each character, you gradually unlock their availability and strengthen your roster.

Both characters appear at different times of the day, so timing plays a key role in their recruitment process.

Chiyo Hiraoyogi

On Thursday mornings at the Old Shipyard, you can recruit Chiyo Hiraoyogi by speaking to her twice and then giving her a Waverush Bangle, which you buy in Downtown Nagumohara.

Once she receives the gift, she moves to Rural Road, where you must meet and speak to her again. To complete her recruitment requirements, clear the Tire Target training once and reach a Team DF value of 500 or higher.

After meeting these conditions, Chiyo Hiraoyogi becomes available for your team.

Kankuro Utaya

You encounter Kankuro Utaya at the Old Shipyard after school on Thursdays. Speak to him twice, then provide him with Ninja Shoes purchased from Downtown Nagumohara.

After accepting the gift, he relocates to the first floor of the school building, where you must find and speak to him. To finalize the process, kick 15 lootballs in Odaiba and achieve a Technique stat of at least 80.

Completing these conditions will allow you to recruit Kankuro Utaya successfully.
