Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Guide | How to Get the Best Heroes

A guide on how to get best heroes in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Heroes serve as the highest-tier players you can field in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and you can only place two of them on your team at once. While you can enhance a character from Common up to Legendary, this system does not produce Hero characters.

You must obtain Heroes through specific features and battles. This guide breaks down the available methods and what you should expect from each.

Understanding Hero Availability

Characters appear in several rarities, and Heroes sit at the top. You will rely on Chronicle Mode, Competition Mode, and the Spirit Market to secure Hero spirits. As you progress, you will notice that Hero spirits come with very low drop rates, so patience and repeated attempts are necessary.

Using the Player Universe in Chronicle Mode

In Chronicle Mode, you gain access to the Player Universe, a feature that allows you to trade five Bond Stars for twelve character spirits at a time. These spirits are arranged into constellations. When you open a constellation, you can check its full list of potential characters by selecting it and pressing the Available Characters prompt.

Inside these lists, you will see that every constellation contains a very small chance—about 0.5%—to give a Hero spirit. This makes the Player Universe one of the main ways to roll for Heroes, though the low rate means you will likely spend many Bond Stars before you see a result.

Any spirit you obtain can be converted into a player through the Spirits section in the Team Bank. Once converted, the player moves to your player bank at the bottom of the Team Bank menu, where you can add them to your team.

Spending Bond Stars Efficiently

There are two primary ways to collect Bond Stars:

You can enter Competition Mode and join ranked or lobby matches online. Every completed match rewards five Bond Stars, regardless of whether you win or lose. This makes Competition Mode a steady source of currency.

You can also earn Bond Stars in Chronicle Mode by winning Rare Drop Battles and Hero Battles. These become available after clearing all preceding battles on a node. Each of these special battles has a chance to drop one or two Bond Stars.

Using these methods together helps you build a consistent flow of Bond Stars for repeated constellation pulls.

Getting Hero Spirits Through Hero Battles

Hero spirits can drop from Hero Battles in Chronicle Mode. To attempt these battles, you must first clear that node’s Chronicle, Route Unlock Battles, and Rare Drop Battles. Once unlocked, a Hero Battle offers a small chance to drop a Hero spirit when you win.

These encounters require teams capable of handling opponents at Level 51 or higher. Before entering a Hero Battle, hover over it and press Check Drop Rates to view the possible Hero spirits and their respective odds. Expect low drop rates, making repeat attempts necessary.

Buying Hero Spirits from the Spirit Market

Another option is the Spirit Market, located in the Marketplace from the main menu. You can check purchasable Hero spirits by following these steps:

Select Marketplace.

Enter the Spirit Market.

Move to the Spirits tab.

Some Heroes can be bought here, but each one costs a large number of Legendary spirits. Because of this, it is recommended that you check the Spirit Market before converting Legendary spirits into players. You may want to reserve your Legendary spirits for a specific Hero instead of using them for team recruitment.
