Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants Guide | Monster Gate Puzzle

The Monster Gate puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants requires matching animal symbols with specific numbers and markings to unlock the gate.

Like most of the puzzles in the DLC, it can appear confusing at first due to the number of symbols and combinations, with the logic behind it is pretty simple once you understand.

When you’re at the puzzle site, you see a bunch of animal and insect icons on the rotating cylinders. Each will be paired with numbers. 

These numbers correspond to positions on the top bar of the gate; several stone pillars also displayed the same symbols along with various other markings underneath them. 

Your objective is to correctly align the animal signs of the symbol that is associated with the pillar.

To start, the symbol locates the scorpion symbol, which corresponds to a double H-like symbol. Rotate the mechanism by moving the cube underneath the pillar to the double H symbol.

Once that is in place move to the horse which is represented by the number three you want to turn of the dial by placing the cylinder in until you turn it to roman numeral 3, your order is on the gate that dial will match the horse with a devil woman symbol which corresponds to the horse; then underneath the horse pillar move the cube until it faces the devil woman symbol.

Next, you want to identify the Raven, which is linked to the number five, insert the cylinder and rotate it to 5, and then a female symbol will show on the gate. Rotate the cube underneath the pillar of the raven until it has the female symbol beneath it.

Lastly, moved to the snake which corresponds to the number, when you put the clinder and rotate the dial to number two, it will show the h symbol beneath it. Rotate the cube underneath the pillar of the snake to the h symbol.

Once that‘s done, put the clinder into the gate to open it, completing the puzzle allow allowing you to progress to the next section of the DLC.
