iPhone Apps & Games: Facebook

I can’t imagine there is anyone who managed to find their way to this page that hasn’t heard of Facebook

I can’t imagine there is anyone who managed to find their way to this page that hasn’t heard of Facebook, in fact I’d be pretty amazed to discover many that haven’t heard of it full stop. It’s huge now, and almost everyone is using it, which is inevitably why it ended up on the iPhone.

The iPhone version is pretty solid, the interface is clean and everything runs at a steady rate. There are one or two bugs and slowdowns here and there, but for the most part you’ll find yourself flitting from one thing to the next with ease.

The latest version of the application - which is now compatible with the iPhone3.0 operating system – features all the main thing’s you’d expect it to. You can view your notifications and status updates, accept friend requests, update your status, add photos, etc.

There are a few key things’ missing that may frustrate and limit your experience, such as not being able to use applications or games, edit your profile information, or remove tags from your pictures, but for the most part it’s a pretty healthy package to sink your teeth into.
