LiveFeed: Lexcavator

Games with simple systems that still achieve to retain their own identity are usually entertaining. Puzzle game Lexcavator is just that. By mixing word puzzles with Tetris and slight platform elements, this game keeps its players on edge by pressuring them into creating new words. As the platform rises, gamers must guide their avatar downward into the pit of formulated words they’ve just strung together.

Along the way, they’ll find special letters that yield power-ups that change the increasing playing board. As time progresses and words are chained together, the rising tide will increase and it will become harder to survive. The goal is simply to do as well as possible, but that is no easy feat in itself. With each round just reaching a few minutes, there is a high replay value to be found.
