Lord Lee Part 3

Writing by Demoman on  Sep 27, 2010

After defeating the river, the group presses on. Shortly after their last worthy adversary, they come across their next one, some woods.

"The supply wagon can't fit in there, we can barely fit outselves," Kit stated.
"Light's ego definantly won't either," Prize joked.
"Can it, tin man. We'll have to carry our supplies ourselves," light ordered.
"Just because I can't afford real armor doesn't mean you can make fun of me," Prize responded
"The fact that I am a higher rank does. Now grab what you can carry and lets press on."
"Who's gonna carry Moolly?" Loin asked.
"Who?"
"Moolly, the cargo cow."
"I vote Light."
"The cow can still walk, so let her."

As they ventured deeper into the woods, the weight of their gear begins to take its toll.
"I can't go on," Loin states, "it's too much."
"You sissy..... there goes my back," Prize says before collapsing.
"Kit asks," Maybe we should try and lighten our load, get rid of what we don't need."
"Light replies, "We need everything here."
"We don't need the piano."
"I need it."
"For what?"
"I can't be a warrior forever, I'll eventually get old."
"Not unless you hand over your goods and your gold," a voice declares from the woods.
"We are not afraid of you," Light says.
"Your exhausted friends can't help you," the voice replies.
"You mean won't?" Kit responds.
"Where is your honor, sirs?" light asked.
"I left it at home with my bravery and sense of duty."
"Your friends are smart, why don't you just hand over your gold and no one has to get hurt."
"If my allies won't help me, I'll fight you alone."

Light grabs his sword and readys himself for the attack. 3 bandits armed with axes walk towards him.
"It's your burial, fool."
Mooly rams into the bandits, knocking 2 of them to their backs and kicks the other in his stomach. She rears up like a horse and stomps on one of them. The trio of thugs stumble to their feet and run.
"Finally a real weapon, this cardboard one wouldn't do me any good," Prize says, "And there is 1 axe for each of us."
"Am I the only one who is confused by the fact our cow just beat up some bandits?" Kit asked.
"I always knew Mooly was special," Loin replies.
"Lets keep moving, we don't want to be around when they return with more friends," Light orders.
"Friends? Low-life thug gangsters have no friends," Prize says.

The group presses on, finally getting through the woods without any more trouble. They pass through a field and come across a farm house. They look inside and it seems to be abandoned. It was getting late, so they decide to spend the night.
