In MIO: Memories in Orbit, you can find Coating Components to boost your health. Every four pieces you collect will give you one extra health slot. You cannot miss any of these, and you can still go back to find them after you beat the game.

Early Game Components

The first component is easy to get once you fix the Nexus. You can use Shii to climb up and reach it. For the second one, climb the platforms and look for a spot to drop down instead of moving forward.

The item will be right there when you land. You can find the third piece by going left past some Mechanical Remains and using your Hairpin to reach it. The fourth one is found by climbing to a high platform and following the only path forward in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

Hidden World Components

Some pieces are tucked away in secret spots. For the fifth one, use a trampoline to reach the top, head left, and go through a hole in the wall.

The sixth component is inside a container that opens after you kill nearby enemies. You can spot the seventh piece sitting on a platform to your left, while the eighth is hidden inside a drawer at the top of an area.

Climbing and Vine Paths

To find the ninth piece, go through a hole in the ceiling and climb through a long path filled with red vines. Break the wall at the end to find the item in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

The tenth component is sitting right under a stone. For the eleventh and twelfth pieces, you will need to use your Hairpin. One is a simple grapple away, while the other requires you to climb up and move through more red vines.

Ability-Locked Components

Some components require special powers to reach. You need the Flowing Steps upgrade to climb through water for the thirteenth piece.

The fourteenth is sitting in plain sight. To get the fifteenth, you must wear the Defragmentation Mod, take explosion damage, and hit the energy shard into a wall using your Slingshot. The sixteenth piece is at the top of a checkpoint in the Pit.

Final Pieces and Mel’s Shop

The seventeenth piece is at the top of its area. For the eighteenth, use your Slingshot to hit an energy shard into a purple wall to break it in MIO: Memories in Orbit.

The final components, numbers nineteen through twenty-four, must be bought. Go to Mel's shop after you find the 3 Minions. Each friend you save lets you buy two more components from him.
