MOH 2010: I Just Lost the Honor

Review by Monkeyfeed on  Oct 21, 2010

Let’s start with a little flash back. "Slow-Mo"  Pistol head shots in the first level- remember guys! Nothing? Ok, Call of duty 4. Yes you are right. I started the game with high expectations, but at the end of the day, it just gave me some rewinding memories. No danger close shootings, clear view of enemies, i mean what was that? I was never too excited or you know, tensed; it was just roaming around and shooting people. I am not talking about the multi-player thing but the single player was a total mess up for me.

Some of the early released screenshots doesn't justify with the current game scenario.

MOH; I think this was one of the most anticipated releases of 2010. Yes, I was waiting for this one like hell. Seriously, I am a big fan of MOH series and COD series. But what just happened is totally annoying. For me, MOH 2010 is the biggest let down so far.

Sniping was never so much easy.

The developers should have thought twice before releasing such kind unfinished project in the crowded shooting market where the gamers have already experienced some brilliance's like, Modern Warefare, Bad company 2, Crisis Warhead, Dog Days 2 etc.

Alright, let’s forget about MOH for a bit and focus on Call of duty. I have been playing the COD series for long time. I mean just look at the benchmark growth for the game. In every release they have added something new. I still have “Modern Warfare 2” installed in my system because I love to play it.  I was really happy with Call of duty 2. Then I was more than happy after playing COD: World at War. But I must say with Modern Warfare series they have just overflowed the expectations.

I was expecting more from MOH 2010. The campaign was very much straightforward, not much dramatic cut scenes; it is like some of the old school basic FPS we used to play back in 2004-2005.

The graphics, i don’t see any realistic efforts in there. I think this is one of poorest display of gaming graphics so far. The “Air strike attack and destroy graphics” looks very cheap to me. You don’t have much to modify as well. I mean, come on! This is 2010 and everybody is going with high end Graphics Cards. Most of the game developers are focusing on several graphics options and now days and this is the USP of the game. Like Dog Days 2, this game just boosted up with it’s beautiful cut scenes and very good graphical effects.

The graphics was tearing up and somewhat like clumsy to me.

I don’t like the HUD as well. most of the time it leads you in a wrong direction. I never felt like a war environment really and the buddy boost; why can’t i use my own arm to get up? I mean these little issues makes the game-play more realistic.

And the bugs! I don’t understand why MOH developers releases the game with these bugs.

After playing Splinter Cell, Metro 2033, MOH is just a dull one for me. One of the early release like "Battlefield Bad Company 2, i wasn't expecting much from this one, but still it surprised me with some innovations compared to it's previous versions.

MOH is not a total bad experience by any means, but it's definitely a inconsistent overall package. What was the idea of the game?? Just kick some Taliban's ass! I say, wait for the Black Ops and Bad Company 2: Vietnam.

Trust me guys these two will kick real hard and sure MOH team will feel some real pain in their.....i hope you got my point. I am putting my money on these two and i am sure i will not be a looser this time. I just wasted my weekend on this stupid MOH, i should have played PES 2011.

BTW, anyone played “Dear Hunter”? Play it. At least the game speaks for the title. ;) Because for Medal of Honor, Oh! I just lost the honor. I will get back to guys as soon as i find it.
