Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Guide | Hidden Floor Trap Room Skip (Easy Method).

The Hidden Floor Trap Room is notorious for wasting time and testing memory. The room forces you to track a long sequence of hazards for more than two minutes, and the payoff is not huge. 

Still, you may want the shiny Pants inside the Chest. This guide shows a quick, reliable skip that lets you avoid the entire sequence and claim the reward with minimal effort. 

How To Reach The Trap Room

You first need the Lost Key. Buy it from The Scrapper. Then ride the Main Elevator up, move into the Secret Corridor on the right, and reach the Hidden Floor Trap Room entrance. The door leads into the puzzle space where all the hazards run in a long cycle.

Why This Puzzle Feels Hard

The room is designed to drain focus and punish hesitation. You must memorize what comes next so you can prepare before each hazard appears. The full cycle usually takes more than two minutes to finish. That length, paired with the need to remember the pattern, makes the challenge feel tougher than most nearby rooms.

The Bypass Method (Shadow Skip)

Stand on the poles just outside the room. Place a Shadow Of The Simurgh marker right before crossing the threshold. 

Quickly launch yourself into the room to trigger the puzzle, then instantly recall to your shadow to return outside. This step may take a few tries as the timing is tight, but it works. As of Patch 1.02, this method is still effective.

Wait It Out Safely

After you snap back outside, wait for about two to three minutes. You may hear the Traps and mechanisms running above, but you remain safe outside while holding the pole. Let the sequence finish in the background. Do not re-enter yet.

Re-Enter For The Reward

Once a few minutes pass, step away from the poles and walk back toward the Main Elevator, then return to the Hidden Floor Trap Room entrance. On re-entry, the door should be open, the Traps should be stopped, and the Chest should be waiting. Open it and collect the Pants without having to run the gauntlet.

Notes And Etiquette

This is likely not how the developers intended the room to be cleared, but it is available and functions as described. If you want the reward fast, use the skip. 

If you prefer the intended challenge, run the full pattern and practice the timing. Either way, the Hidden Floor Trap Room no longer blocks progress or gear collection.
