The magnum is the most powerful weapon outside from the Rocket Launcher. Jill has 1 chance to obtain it and we know how.
After Carlos saves Jill and you retake control of her head to the 2nd floor of the Hospital. Head to the Nurse's station and you'll see a bunch of stuff on the right side when exiting the area. Jill can squeeze through this opening and leap down. Inside the suitcase is the weapon.
