Tamagotchi Plaza is an adorable game for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, even giving some exclusive items to those who purchased it on the newer Nintendo console. But, there's even more goodies to be gotten. 

For players who recall the small handheld version of Tamagotchi that many of us remember from the 90s and early 2000s, they will love playing Tamagotchi Plaza. Not to mention, the Tamagotchi Uni device can also be virtually connected to the game to receive some extra points and bonuses within Tamagotchi Plaza. This is the only device that can be connected to the game. 

With a lot of games, there are promotional codes that release every so often to provide you with needed resources or an exclusive item for you to show off proudly. This guide explains how to use codes on Tamagotchi Plaza and lists the available codes in the new game. 

How To Use the Codes in Tamagotchi Plaza

In Tamagotchi Plaza, there are a few different customizations you can do to better your plaza area. These items serve as both decorations for the plaza and for the statue located within it. As you play, you will unlock these items, but codes can also provide more or exclusive ones. 

Redeeming codes is pretty easy. You'll need to use their phone within Tamagotchi Plaza to redeem codes. You'll want to go to the "Codes" app, which is the ABC icon on their phone. From there, select the "Gift" option. The other option is to connect a Tamagotchi Uni device to the game. You won't need to take any additional steps to redeem codes in Tamagotchi Plaza.

Currently, there are not many codes for Tamagotchi Plaza; however, with time, more are likely to be added. Make sure to always capitalize letters, as it will affect the code if it isn't done. Below is a list of codes that are currently active in the game.

Another fun thing to note is that users who have linked their Tamagotchi Uni to their Tamagotchi Plaza will be able to play a minigame called Hand Out Flyers. After playing it, you'll be given a Tour Code. After inputting the code in the Plaza and doing the Tamahiko Tour, players will then receive what is called a Parting Code, which can be used to redeem on the Uni device itself for rewards.
