The Council - Episode 2: Hide and Seek - The Origin of the Sword Left by your Mother

After leaving Lord Mortimer’s lab either through your own or with Peru’s help head to the portrait gallery where the Medusa puzzle is location. On the outer wall is a door leading to the garden and you’ll find Peru. You can speak to him to gain his trust but don’t use “Questioning” or he’ll resent you.

Okay, now for the puzzle. This one is easy if you have the necessary skills but all you must do is put the sword into the right statue. Head through the garden until you reach the King of Crete, his statue is close to the Minotaur on the upper left-hand side. Put the sword inside his chest and head to the gazebo, you’ll find a handprint on the column right of the floor plaque. Place your hand on it to open the floor.
