The Gadget Report 01: Zune HD?

well I would like to thank RON for letting me write about gadgets and what not in my blog. This is my first one so bear with me.

A website with a domain name of zunehd.net appeared earlier this week, and though the website was confirmed fake, the rumor of the device is all but that.

Zune HD? That is the question. Microsofts personal media player may be getting an update. Numerous sources have pointed to this picture as the upgrade to the Zune.

 

 

Some of these sources include Engadget, Zunited and Windows Mobile Power User. The device is rumored ti be the sucsessor to the solid media device. Although official specs are no where to be found, the device is supsosedly rocking an 3.7 OLED touchscreen and capabilities of HD media. The rest of the specs include

 

-3.7 OLED Touchscreen

-Nvidia Tegra Powered

-HDMI

-HD Radio

-Web Browser

-Wifi

-Wireless Marketplace

 

Of course Microsoft has refused to comment but all signs point to yes that this device is real.

 

Later more images have been leaked out. This one showing a differant angle of basicly the same device.

 

Though at first glance it may appear the zune has a camera in the corner, it is actually a screw, all four corners have them. The device is reportidly going to go on sale in early fall  nothing is set in stone. The Zune is due for an update and this may be it, ask Mr. Ed Oswald. Well this device is surely going to be a lot more attractive then the last ones. What the devices lack in style they make up for in functionality. The ZuneHD should not have to sacrafice either.
