THQ is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy and has revealed several unannounced projects from Vigil Games, Turtle Rock, Relic Entertainment and Patrice Desilets.
Virgil Games, the developers behind the Darksiders series, according to the document have a game with the working title “Crawler”. Lead developer, Haydn Dalton, stated in a interview with Strategy Informer that the Darksiders franchise would continue based on the sales of Darksiders 2. Perhaps “Crawler” is the codename for the upcoming sequel.
Turtle Rock Studios has a cooperative action title in development called “Evolve” which could be the final name of the game since THQ trademarked the title.
Patrice Desilets, or THQ Montreal, is working on another game that THQ has trademarked called “1666”.
Jason Rubin, THQ game director, has tweeted that all current projects will be released on scheduled. These include Company of Heroes 2, Metro Last Light and South Park: The Stick of Truth. Other titles such as the sequels to Saint’s Row and Homefront will continue as well.
