SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide Guide | Goldfish Island All Chests

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide features several large, open-ended levels, and Goldfish Island is one of the most dense when it comes to hidden rewards. This guide walks you through every single chest found in this area, explained clearly from start to finish. 

There are 35 Chests in total on Goldfish Island, and none of them are missable. You can return to the level at any time using fast travel, so you are free to explore without pressure. Each chest is explained in the order you naturally encounter them as you progress through the level.

Starting Area and Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant

Chest #1

Right at the beginning of the level, head underneath the pier. You will find the chest hidden below the wooden structure.

Chest #2

Go beneath the netting under Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant using Patrick. Collect all the coins underneath to make the chest appear.

Chest #3

At Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant, hit every dirty table until all of them are clean. Once the task is complete, the chest will spawn.

Chest #4

On the beach to the left of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant, jump on all five Beach Umbrellas. After stepping on every umbrella, the chest will appear.

Chest #5

Still to the left of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant, look toward the water and find a target positioned above a life ring attached to a rock. Pick up the ball from the beach and throw it at the target to reveal the chest.

Chest #6

Near the docks at the start of the level, use Patrick to pull the boat by pressing the interaction button. This ability becomes available only after you progress into the Jungle Area and unlock the required skill.

Lighthouse and Nearby Platforms

Chest #7

To the left of the destroyed boat near the Lighthouse, destroy all the barrels surrounding the small wooden platform in the water. The chest is revealed once the barrels are gone.

Chest #8

Under the Lighthouse, you will find a platform with a gold balloon. Use a flying kick to hit the balloon, or drop down from above, to reach the chest.

Chest #9

Between the Lighthouse and Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant, there is a platform suspended over the water. Glide from the lighthouse to land on it and collect the chest.

Chest #10

To the right of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant, help the NPC stuck in the sand. Use Patrick to go underground and assist them to make the chest appear.

Chest #11

Look along the side of the large rock to the right of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant. The chest is sitting on a narrow ledge.

Chest #12

Near the same rock, use Patrick to throw the stone face onto the stone body below. Completing the statue will unlock the chest.

Chest #13

The chest is located on top of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant. You can reach the rooftop by following the path that leads toward the Jungle Area.

Jungle Entrance and Upper Paths

Chest #14

From the jungle entrance path, turn around instead of moving forward. Go to the end of the path to find a platform holding the chest.

Chest #15

Once inside the Jungle Area, use Patrick’s Grapple to extend a platform leading to a circular area with coins and two NPCs. Go underground and collect the full circle of coins to spawn the chest.

Chest #16

Drop down behind the previous chest location to find a barrel. Use it to destroy the rocks blocking the nearby passage. The chest is hidden behind those rocks.

Chest #17

After climbing the rock with two NPCs in the Jungle Area, use the balloon to reach the wooden platform. Before jumping onto the carnivorous plant, move toward the rock towers on the left to find the chest.

Waterfall and Cave Sections

Chest #18

Near the waterfall where you speak to Mr. Krabs, ride the lift to the top. Once there, head to the right side to reach the chest on a ledge.

Chest #19

Inside the cave with the river where you surf across, watch the left side for red balloons. Use them to reach a platform holding the chest.

Chest #20

At the end of the first wooden ramp in the middle of the river, climb the wooden platforms on the right side. The chest is located at the far end.

Chest #21

After the wooden ramp, you will see a wooden tunnel ahead. Instead of entering it, use the ramp with the booster ring on the right to reach a higher platform with the chest.

Chest #22

In the area where you turn off the waterfall, use the floating platform to jump over the gate on the left. The chest is waiting on the other side.

Chest #23

After passing through the now-disabled waterfall, look below your position before using the fan to glide forward. Drop down to collect the chest.

Graveyard and Water Control Area

Chest #24

Near the #1 Statue in the grave-filled area past the turned-off waterfall, you will find the chest nearby on the ground.

Chest #25

In the area where you can lower the water level, use Patrick to grab the box and place it on the switch. Once the water lowers, use SpongeBob’s Flying Kick to reach the chest at the end of the left path.

Chest #26

After lowering the water in the same area, look underneath the central platform. The chest is hidden below it.

Boss and Post-Boss Area

Chest #27

After defeating the Dutchman’s Chest Boss at the end of the level, the chest appears automatically.

Chest #28

In the open water area following the boss fight, look to the left for a small island with NPCs and buried coins. Use Patrick to dig up the coins and spawn the chest.

Side Quests and Races

Chest #29

Complete the Collect Trash side quest. You can start it by talking to Mrs. Puff on the beach to the left of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant.

Chest #30

Finish the Win the Resort Race side quest. The chest is located beneath the left side of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant.

Chest #31

Complete the Fix the Still Life side quest by speaking with Squidward, who is found behind the rock to the right of Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant. This chest counts toward completion even though the quest itself does not.

Chest #32

Finish the Find the Ticket side quest for Fred, who can be found near the start of the Jungle Area. After digging up coins for an earlier chest, drop down on the opposite side to locate him.

Chest #33

Complete the Win the 1st Slide Race side quest. The NPC that starts this race appears above Goldie’s Treasure Restaurant, near the jungle shortcut, but only after the waterfall has been turned off.

Chest #34

Finish the Win the Jungle Race side quest. The NPC appears above the waterfall area after you defeat the main boss and turn off the waterfall.

Chest #35

Complete the Win the 2nd Slide Race side quest. The NPC is found on a boat in the large open water area after the Dutchman’s Chest Boss fight.
