Xbox Tokyo Game Show just rolled around, showing off over a hundred new titles that will be released in the coming months or 2025 and beyond. There's a lot to be excited about, especially if you could catch the broadcasts that have occurred. But with that many games shown off at once, it is easy to miss a lot of them.
We've got you covered from that end. Here are some of the more significant games shown off at the Tokyo Game Show. It was difficult to even narrow it down to 20, so if you don't find your favorite game here, don't worry. We have more lists coming, and we'll cover the games when they eventually release.
BURGGEIST(ブルクガイスト)
BURGGEIST is a real-time strategy game that allows you to fight back against enemies in the open world of Aliscans. You've got a huge walking fortress sharing its name with the game at your side, and the combat revolves around making use of elevation to your advantage as you blast your enemies into pieces.

Bionic Bay
Bionic Bay is a unique puzzle platformer with beautiful aesthetics. It has this unique swap mechanic where you can instantly switch places with any nearby object. It seems like you will need to get really comfortable with this mechanic because projectiles chase you in hordes. Bionic Bay looks like a lot of fun because of its fast-paced nature.

Fate Trigger: The Novita
Fate Trigger: The Novita is an upcoming third-person hero shooter with a distinct anime aesthetic. You've got huge guns, beautiful characters, superpowers, and plenty of mobility options to keep things interesting with its PvP combat.

Psionic Sentry: Infinite
Psionic Sentry: Infinite is a third-person action title that is also a roguelike. It has a cool anime aesthetic and an epic parry system that seems to be emphasized heavily in combat.

Spell Fragments
Spell Fragments is a fantasy action roguelike where you can use both magic and weapons to take enemies down. You can also have friends join you with the game's co-op feature.

Homura Hime
Homura Hime is a third-person action game with anime visuals that has you following a female protagonist. The combat is giving NieR: Automata, especially with the parts where the game turns into a bullet hell.

Stygian: Outer Gods
Stygian: Outer Gods is an upcoming first-person survival horror game that looks terrifying. You are shipwrecked in the forgotten settlement of Kingsport, and you must survive against monsters that have haunted this place for centuries, inspired by H.P. Lovecraft.

SILENT HILL 2
One of the best horror games of all time, SILENT HILL 2, is finally getting a modern look. The nostalgic music and the 2000s aesthetic are both here. As James, you investigate the letter of your late wife by revisiting the place where you both made most of your memories—Silent Hill, a place that is now a ghost town.

SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS
After the successful Sonic Frontiers, we're getting a new Sonic game, along with the return of Shadow the Hedgehog in SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS. It's hard not to be excited about Sonic these days, with this game looking good and the announcement of Keanu Reeves being featured in the next movie.

Constance is a cool indie Metroidvania in which you play as an artist who wields a paintbrush. Just like paint flows on a canvas, this title has extremely fluid movement. The trailer showed off some creative puzzles that seem akin to Celeste.

Outrider Mako is a game in which you are a delivery girl in the land of Japanese mythos. It's a 2D action adventure with a top-down view. It looks fun, fast-paced, and cute. I can't wait to try it out.

The First Berserker: Khazan
A dark fantasy souls-like where you play as Khazan, the great general of the Pell Los Empire, who overcame death. He goes down a bloody path as he seeks vengeance on his enemies. What stands out for me is the cel-shaded visuals—this is not so common in the souls genre, and this has some strong Berserk vibes as well.

In The Occultist, you play Alan Rebels and carry out his terrifying occult investigation in this psychological horror adventure. Alan has a pendulum that interacts with the environment and helps his investigation.

Blood Crossroad is similar to Silent Hill and plays into all the tropes that made the classic title so scary. This upcoming first-person horror title looks absolutely terrifying.

BLEACH Rebirth of Souls
BLEACH, one of the most stylish phones of the 2000s, is finally getting a large-scale title that is not a mobile game! The best part? It's not the usual 3D arena fighter you are tired of. The game has some new mechanics that make it play as close to the anime fights you grew up seeing as possible.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, an ex-Yakuza member somehow gets stranded in Hawaii. You can see this game as your usual Yakuza game with its crazy antics, but you are a pirate! With how fun the Yakuza series is with its randomness, you can't expect the same from this title as well.

From the makers of Persona, we're getting a brand new IP, Metaphor ReFantazio. You play to take the throne of a late assassinated king, who decreed the next monarch to be chosen by the people. It's a real-time action persona with dragons and monarchs, and it looks to be a smash hit.
