Whisper of the House Guide | Unlock Carpets, Lights, Plants, and Decorations

Decorating spaces is an important part of creating a cozy home atmosphere in Whisper of the House. Carpets, lights, plants, and decorations can be collected through exploration.

Carpet Items

Carpets are a collectible category that can be unlocked through various in-game actions. Some of the carpets are rewarded by unlocking new houses or completing requests from different characters. Each carpet adds warmth and personality to the interior, enhancing the overall design of each room.

For those looking to complete the full collection, Sasha Carpets is the go-to stand. Carpets from this stand can be obtained through the Gacha boxes available there. Sasha Carpets is located on the beach, just to the right of the flower shop. 

Collecting carpets from both houses and Sasha's stand will ensure you a complete set, which you can confirm once no greyed-out icons remain in the carpet collection menu.

Lights Items

Light items play a significantly important role as they brighten and personalize your interiors. Most lights can be unlocked by progressing through the game, either by opening packages from new houses or completing specific requests.

While there is no dedicated store for lights, you can still find a few of them at BestTime Appliances. 

Once every light has been collected, the light collection tab will show no greyed-out items; that is when you will understand the completion of this category and add a cozy glow to every room.

Plant Items

Plant items are obtained in a similar manner to other furniture categories. Many of them can be unlocked naturally through houses and requests, but some require additional exploration. 

You can purchase the remaining plants from the Self-Service Gardening Shop using the Gacha system. This shop, located to the right of the Flower Shop, is a key location for gathering unique plant items.

Additionally, some plants can only be unlocked by growing them in the Flower Garden, which is also accessible from the Flower Shop. For specific growing combinations, community-made plant recipe guides are available, and you can refer to them for convenience.

Once all plant items are collected, the plant collection menu will display a complete, un-greyed catalog.

Decoration Items

Decorations add the final touch to a home's design, and you can find them through multiple sources. Some of the decorations can be unlocked by opening house packages or fulfilling requests.

While others can be discovered when you explore the world. Items can be found inside trash cans, boxes, and sand piles scattered across the map. If you explore thoroughly, you might find them too.

Decorations can also be obtained from two main stores:

The Wandering General Store, which is accessible through the Gacha system. This shop, located to the right of the shopping mall, offers a variety of decorative pieces.

The Newsstand, which also serves as a Gacha shop. There are five Newsstands scattered around the map, all selling identical items and sharing the same appearance.

Once all decorations have been collected from these sources, the decoration collection menu will show no greyed-out slots.

With every piece gathered, your interior in Whisper of the House can be transformed into vibrant, personalized spaces that reflect creativity and style.
