Hm, been a long time since I've been around, huh?
First, let me talk about the now-long-overdue character blog. It's coming. I've scrapped it about five times so far, and I'm just going to settle for whatever comes out now. It should be up by the end of the week.
Next, I just finished Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on hard mode. "Hard" is an understatement. Of course, FE has a history of being difficult, but Radiant Dawn is even harder. Basically, on easy mode, if you make one wrong move, one (or more) of your characters will die (and you generally want to restart the chapter if a character dies, 'cause they never come back). On normal mode, even if you don't make any wrong moves, you need to make nothing but good moves to survive. And on hard mode, you can make all the best moves and still get screwed over. Murphy's law comes back to bite you in the ass.
I still managed to train Vika to her max level, though. :P She saved me so many times in the end of the game.
Alright, so I recently found two old JRPGs for a mere $6 USD and $4 USD. Namely, Xenosaga Episode I and Xenosaga Episode II. After dealing with inept Gamestop employees, returning a defective copy of Episode I, and seeking out a working copy of Episode I, I finally got to play it. And so far, I'm impressed. It seems that just as I stop playing one JRPG (and try to swear off the genre as a whole), another one just comes along. Anyway, the story and characters are incredible, and the battle system is unbelievably weird and awesome. So much for dedicating my free time to NoobFeed. :P
Yeah, I've yapped on enough anyway. Here's an awesome picture that basically sums up every Mega Man stage ever, and I'll take my leave. Be back soon to visit your blogs.
