Guerrilla Games captivated audiences with Horizon Zero Dawn, Super Mario Odyssey surpassed expectations, and Capcom brought Resident Evil back to its horror roots. If you're still waiting for Code Vein to drop or just completed The Surge you need to play Nioh.

Undertale,Toby Fox,NoobFeed

Undertale

PC gamers enjoyed the indie hit Undertale for years but this year it finally came to the PS4. Taking control of a small boy who has fallen into the Underground, a secluded region underneath the Earth and separated by a magical barrier, the player must escape by any means. Unlike other RPG games, the player can play the entire game without killing anything. This alters the story by changing how the characters in the world react to you and including exclusive boss battles based on which path you take. Coupled with a unique platforming combat system and a fantastic soundtrack Undertale is a rare experience that shouldn't be missed.

Uncharted,The Lost Legacy,NoobFeed,Naughty Dog,Sony,

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Nathan Drake's adventures may have ended but Naughty Dog wasn't done with the Uncharted franchise yet. In this final adventure, we're taken on one last journey with Uncharted 2's Chloe Frazer and antagonist of Uncharted 4 Nadine Ross. While short the adventure shares the same acclaimed features that the franchise is known for such as intense combat, death-defying acrobatic challenges, and simple puzzles. The only downside is that this is the final game in the Uncharted franchise by Naughty Dog, but they made it count.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy,Activision,NoobFeed,Sony,

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

If you remember playing Crash Bandicoot on the PlayStation, congratulations! You're officially old. However, despite Crash's long hiatus, the N. Sane Trilogy showed that not only is there a demand for platforming games like this but young gamers now didn't understand that Dark Souls-like games like this were common during this time period. Colorful worlds, challenging optional objectives, and outstanding boss battles. If you want classic platforming at its finest then play Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Hellblade is a gripping journey of a Pict warrior named Senua as she tries to save her dead lover's soul from the goddess Hela. As you travel Senua's psychosis, which she believes to be a curse, haunts her throughout the adventure manifesting as an entity known as "The Darkness". Visions of the past come alive as monsters, warriors, and other psychological dangers blending together action, adventure, hack and slash, puzzle solving, and survival horror into one exceptional adventure. Not only is Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice an atmospheric tale but a learning experience of how someone suffering from disorders similar to Senua.

Nier,Automata,NoobFeed,PlatinumGames,Sony,

NieR: Automata

NieR: Automata isn't an ordinary game. It examines what you think by providing circumstances that directly challenges things such as life, death, and existence. All while providing hordes of enemies ranging from standard humanoids sized robots to building-size monsters while an impressive soundtrack plays in the background. The robust combat and diverse characters will keep you hooked to the very end, but then it doesn't end. NieR: Automata doesn't stop when the credits roll and gives the player multiple ways of how the story could complete itself. A great story, multiple reasons to keep playing, and an insanely fun combat system, what more could you possibly ask for?

Horizon Zero Dawn,NoobFeed,Guerrilla Games,Sony,

Horizon Zero Dawn

Known for their FPS shooter Killzone Guerrilla Games shocked the world with Horizon Zero Dawn. A remarkable open-world action adventure game full of unique, and deadly, robots within a beautiful world. The gameplay, story, characters, and music all came together to provide one of the best experiences of this generation. Aloy's debut as the game's protagonist instantly won over the gaming community thanks to her charismatic charm, determined personality, and willingness to do what is right. Best of all Guerrilla Games recently released an expansion called The Frozen Wilds that shares the campaign's outstanding quality and extends the story further.
