The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Goes Gold

It looks like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be released on March 3rd; the game has officially gone gold.

This means that the game's development has finished, and it's ready for production.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild marks the final first-party game for the Wii U but one of the most anticipated launch titles for the Nintendo Switch, which launches the same day. This doesn't mean the game cannot receive a day-one update. Currently, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild requires 13.4 GB on the Nintendo Switch, which is nearly half of the system's internal storage. 

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launches for Wii U and Nintendo Switch on March 3rd.
