Dead or Alive 5 was a major hit and those looking forward to its sequel should expect some changes to the meta. Today, a new trailer was released giving details to what players can expect from the updated fighting mechanics in Dead or Alive 6.
The triangle system was shown that displays strike beat throws, throws beat holds and holds beat strikes. Fatal Rush is the simple auto combo, great for newcomers and break blow does a powerful smash. Break Hold is an emergency recovery system.
Information about the story was provided, conveying that 24 characters will fight in the game's campaign and showcases Nico, a new fighter that uses electricity and Deigo.
DOA Central was shown that features special DOA Quests that provide special bonuses to players who complete specific tasks. The trailer ends with the reveal of a special character.
Dead or Alive 6 launches on March 1st for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. You can try the beta right now on PS4.
