Pokémon Global Link Re-Launches April 13

News by Azn_pride on  Apr 13, 2011

Pokémon Black/White’s Global Link feature will finally go live today, April 13. The delay of the Global Link launch was made because of the Japan tsunami/earthquake that occurred well over a month ago in an attempt to conserve energy in the country. The message came straight out of the Global Link website.

[Insert Inception joke here]

The game’s Global Link feature gives players access to a place called ‘Dream World,’ where they can enter their Pokémon’s dreams (Inception, anyone?) and have the opportunity to catch previously-uncatchable Pokémon, find rare items, talk with other people online, etc. The other part of the Global Link feature is ‘Global Battle Union,’ which hosts Wi-Fi tournaments. You know, for all you competitive trainers out there.

Now that I’ll finally be able to check this feature out and put it to the test, my review for PokémonWhite should go smoothly now. I’m not sure if I have to sign up in the website first in order to get in on the dream-invading action, but I guess I’ll find out, won’t I?
