Battletoads Returning This August

Today, Microsoft confirmed that Zitz, Rash, and Pimple will make a return on August 20th with Battletoads.

The title will feature cel-shaded visuals and the same beat-em-up gameplay the series is notorious for. Battletoads launched in 1991 and was created by Rare. The series was very popular until it went dormant for years. Many have hounded Microsoft, who purchased Rare and the IP, for a new game but the Battletoads were only featured as cameos. 

With this new installment, you can venture into the world of Battletoads again and defeat the Dark Queen. This title won't be made by Rare but instead Dlala Studios who made Overruled!

Battletoads launches this August 20th for PC and Xbox One. It'll be available on Steam and Xbox Game Pass as well on day 1.
