“The response was tremendous when we announced that we had taken over stewardship of the BloodRayne series," said Wade Rosen, President of Ziggurat Interactive. "Fans have been asking what’s next for the series, and now we're excited to show off the great work that's been done by Terminal Reality on the first two titles."
BloodRayne originally debuted on the PS2, GameCube and, Xbox in 2002 before coming to the PC. It was developed by Terminal Reality and starred a vampire named Rayne pursuing Nazis in 1993 for starting a pandemic in the world. The game was well-received for its fast-paced combat and reached large popularity. With a film adaptation launching in 2006 starring Kristanna Loken. The final game was developed by Arc System Works in 2011 called BloodRayne: Betrayal before the series was shelved due to poor sales.
