Boost Mode for PlayStation 4 Pro Releases Tomorrow

Sony announced that the next major update for the PlayStation 4 Pro will enable Boost mode.

Update 4.5 will improve the quality and performance of games that have not been directly patched or updated to support the PlayStation 4 Pro. The beta testing period has been going on for about 1 month. Players can expect:

Frame-rate stability for games programmed to run at 30 Hz or 60Hz
Shorter load times

To activate the function go to Settings then System. Boost Mode isn't guaranteed to work with all PS4 games but for those, it does work for expect a difference.

The update will also bring:

External Hard Drive Support for USB 3.0 devices
Voice chat for Remote Play on Windows PC, Mac or a Xperia Device
Better VR quality for VR headsets
Send PS Messages using PlayStation-brand iOS and Android applications
