Destiny 2's Warmind expansion is now available but has its issues. The most notorious is the ability to use the Rat King to hold more magazines than you should. In response, Bungie has disabled access to the weapon.

Due to an issue impacting Rat King, we are temporarily disabling access to this weapon. Players may experience issues if they currently have the weapon equipped. Signing out and back in to Destiny 2 will resolve these issues.

This has raised a lot of questions about Bungie's ability to disabled owned weapons on the fly. Many explaining their vexation that Bungie can disable weapon access to owned weapons is a legitimate concern. Since players can be locked out of content at a moments notice many are wondering if this can happen to other weapons.

Destiny 2 is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
