Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is the latest game from publisher Bandai Namco. The title explored the entire Z Saga and according to an investor-focused post has reached 1.5 million in sales.

The Japanese post did expect the game to reach 2 million copies sold by the end of the year. However, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot didn't dethrone Arc System Work's Dragon Ball FighterZ which reached 2 million copies sold at the same time. FighterZ was also confirmed recently to have its third season of characters release throughout this year. With Goku Ultra Instinct and Kefla joining the roster this month.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was well-received. Many critics and fans loved the trip down memory lane, incredible boss fights, combat system, and the optional new narrative. However, many did criticize the game's heavy use of collecting Z-orbs, repetitive battles, and a large yet empty open world.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is now available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
