Final Fantasy IX Gets Rated for PS4 by PEGI

Final Fantasy IX just got a PEGI rating on the PS4, hinting at a possible release.

Nothing has been confirmed but considering that the PC version of Final Fantasy VII was released back in December 2015 with trophy support Square Enix may be considering bringing the PC version of Final Fantasy IX for PS4 owners.

Final Fantasy IX released back in July 7th, 2000 for the PlayStation. It returned to the traditional style of early Final Fantasy games and holds one of the highest scores of all the Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy IX was posted to the PC in April 2016 with upgraded visuals and achievements. With the Tokyo Game Show around the corner Square Enix may be considering a grand reveal then.
