Final Fantasy XV Allows You to Pause the Action and Choose Attacks

Sqaure Enix has confirmed that those wishing to opt-out of the action combat system of Final Fantasy XV can pause the action and plan their actions called Wait Mode.

Those wishing to play the game like a modern action RPG can ignore the feature entirely and play the game in real-time or turn it off from the menu selection. BioWare did a similar feature for fans in Dragon Age: Inquistion, allowing players to choose to plan the game in active-combat or shift the camera and gameplay to an overhead tactical view.
